Electric Heaters (Heat Pumps)
Heating your pool with an electric heat pump is very efficient and cost effective. If you use a pool cover you can expect to pay between $200 - $300 per season to heat your pool to 82°F. The costs are similar to heating with natural gas. However, the heat-pump will cost significantly more than gas, it has a larger foot-print and does not heat as quickly. It is a great alternative for those who do not have access to natural gas or propane.
Step 1: Consult with us to determine the right model for your pool size.
Step 2: Consult with an electrician to determine the setup costs.
Step 3: Construct a stable platform with enough space for the heat pump to breath (we will provide required dimensions).
